A YEAR OF INVENTION
1960
It all began in the year 1960 when Shri Somabhai Bhagat found the technique to convert raw dhana into Dhanadal.
Gol Limda became the birthplace of Dhanadal.
A DECADE OF RESEARCH
1960 – 1970
A good start is half the battle.
So after the invention of Dhanadal, the focus was shifted to the next part of the puzzle.

THE GIANT LEAP
1970 – 1980
Finally Dhanadaal was launched in the market.
During this decade the distribution of Dhanadal remained at the distributor level.
A Young zealous member of Bhagat family made humble beginning of his career at Dhanadal Group – Onilbhai Bhagat.
With his entrepreneurial skills Onilbhai Bhagat kept on bringing new ideas to the table.
One of the ideas was to set up a wholesale grocery store in Madhupura.
A YEAR OF INNOVATION
1988
It was in 1988 when the mini pouch of Dhanadal was introduced for the first time in India.
But unfortunately this innovative idea was hit by a road block when for over 4 months, there was no response to this new Dhanadal Product.
It was as if no dealer, distributor or wholesaler was interested in this product.
Finally by the end of the year it was decided to discontinue this product.
Tough Times
1988 – 1990
A lot of investment had already gone into manufacturing Mini Pouch Dhanadal.
Company was already under a lot of financial burden.
Tougher times were ahead.
The company then took out the dead stock of mini pouch dhanadal and started giving it out for free to local vendors, Pan Houses, Gallas and such other sellers.
This practice was continued till six months.
THE YEAR OF REVOLUTION
1990
Hard work always pays off.
The free distribution strategy finally paid off after two years.
Dhadandal had become the favourite after meal delicacy for people.
It was decided to continue mini pouch dhanadal.
TIME & TIDE
1990 – 1996
Tables had turned for Dhanadal pouch.
At times the demand went so high that it was not possible for the supply chain to meet it.
Birth of AMRUT
2008
Year 2008 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Dhanadal.
AMRUT DHANADAL Named after (Onilbhai Bhagat’s) Grand Mother “Amrut”.

2007 – 2017
AMRUT spent a decade crossing new boundaries, achieving new milestones, setting new benchmarks.
